If you like your Mexican food on the hotter side, this is the place for you. Los Dos Molinos is known for the face-reddening, brow sweating heat in the food they serve. It is a very popular place! Yes, I do eat there from time to time but, I’ve learned the things I can order that won’t scorch my mouth or my eyebrows.
The words on the front door say it all.

I'll pass on the 'heat' but I'll take a Corona! hahaha
I love the food at this place. the hatch green chili cheese crisp is awesome
Must. Check. This. Out.
Los Dos Molinos is a family owned restaurant. In addition to this one near South Mountain, they have a branch in Azteca Plaza in downtown Phoenix, another on Alma School Road just south of Main St. in Mesa, and a couple of family members have moved to New York City and opened one there.
Julie, Glenda and I went to the one in Manhattan. It was walking distance south of mid town. It was Zagat rated and was a very popular place.
Looks like a fun place! I love Mexican food.
Chet would like that and could eat anything they serve. I would have to be careful.
I like it mild, with a cold beer.
Are there two windmills anywhere on the property?
Los Dos is my favorite! I like the one on Washington in the Azteca Plaza because I've never had to wait there to be seated whereas the one at South Mountain can be REALLY busy and crowded. My favorite is the ribs cooked in adobo. Yum!
Oh how I love this place. The food is good by my favorite will always be La Pinata on 19th and Osborn.
Thanks, Sharon. Duh! I didn't even think to check if they had a website...and I'm sure Spanish is just like English and other languages where a word can have several meanings.
I just love places like this - you're making me homesick...
I would like to try some dishes there. Secured by big glass of iced water.
