One more set of photos from the Musical Instrument Museum. The museum is arranged on two floors with a theatre, café, and special interactive displays on the ground floor and the main displays arranged by continent on the second floor. The top photo is of the hallway on the second floor which leads to the display rooms. I thought it was very sleek and since I was there right at opening, I could snap a photo before it filled with people. And it did fill with people very quickly.
The photo to the left was taken in one of the special rooms on the lower level. The display was about the diversity of the guitar throughout the world.

I am glad that it later filled with people. I worry about the financial health of museums and other cultural institutions in this economy.
Isn't that interesting. I never heard of this museum. It would be worth a visit.
I would spend a lot of time in the guitar section! Oh, and the cafe. And the interactive sections! This will definitely be on our "to do" list the next time we're in your area.
I closed down Cedar Key and The Villages blogs...just got to be more than I can handle. I imported all those posts into our Florida Fotos blog, and all photos dealing with Florida will be posted to Florida Fotos, except for Stone Creek and I may do that same with that soon.

Love the perspective in the first shot. The guitar display looks really interesting.
Love images of empty buildings (I'm referring to people) and this is a great perspective.
