Is this tree in your yard? If so you are very lucky. It must be a relatively young tree as I don't think that Americans really knew the virtue and amazing texture and taste of pomegranates until recently. As children we would put them in big mixing bowls and come out in the end with red juice all over our faces and dripping down our arms.

There is a pomegrate tree right outside my house, but I don't eat this fruit for a very long time and I love it...
