The Return of the Gladiator

I took a drive around downtown last Saturday in search of a mural to photograph and look who I found.  Does anyone remember back in 2018 when I spotted this giant gladiator at a second hand shop in Phoenix?  Since that time, he's received the Midas touch and turned to gold so he could sit in front of the Golden Rule Tattoo parlor.  He's found a whole new line of work!

Oh he really looks better in gold. I wonder where he initially came from. If we should make it to Phoenix, we will have to check him out in person! Thank you Sharon.

He's a perfect mascot for the tattoo parlor. I think he needs a few tattoos though. Hope life is good and you are staying well.

Wow, that's a major make-over compared to the original. Good eye!

What are the odds?! That's so funny. I definitely think the gold is more becoming.

Though the business is no doubt shuttered at present.
