Getting Creative

As I was leaving the Scottsdale Museum for Contemporary Art, I saw this yucca plant positioned up against the wall of the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts.  It just seemed to have the perfect solid background for a little creative editing.

So, I snapped a photo of it and went home to play with the editing software to see what I could come up with.  I like this version the best.  It looks like it could be an illustration in a book.

The yucca plant reminds me of a person standing there with their hands up. The first thing that popped into my mind...

Hands up, baby, hands up,
Gimme your heart, gimme, gimme your heart
Gimme gimme
Hands up, baby, hands up,
Gimme your heart, gimme, gimme
All your love,
All your love.

That is fun!
I explored Vivian Wang's website. I really like her work. It seems like the heads, feet and hands are cast glass and the clothing is stoneware. Unbelievable work!
