Crawling Tree

This old mesquite tree appears to be crawling across this yard.  I've seen two or three trees like this around town.  I don't know why they have grown this way but, they spread out and cover a large area.  In this case, it pretty much hides the house behind it.

That is a very special tree, never seen this before.

Growing sideways gives the home owners some extra privacy.

A big tree that doesn't have to worry too much about supporting a big weight. Nature is smart!

What a treat for passers-by and the people in the house.

That's a great growth pattern. I wonder how old it is?

I've never seen a tree like this but I love it, it's unique.

Quite an unusual tree! I know they don't grow here.

Wow! I've seen trees doing this when we have been walking in the bush Sharon but never like this in a garden. It looks pretty fabulous and I bet the kids have a good time playing in it ✨
