Rushing the Seasons

Doesn't it seem a bit early to be seeing Halloween stuff in the stores?

Just yesterday, I saw a big Halloween candy display in my grocery store.  I don't think it's a good idea to buy candy on July 29th to be given out on October 31st.

It seems like retailers just keep rushing the season earlier and earlier every year.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  This one is from my recent trip to California and a wonderful exhibit I saw there.

That looks rather strange, who would buy that at this time of the year?

Way too early. Even for back to school is a bit early.

Yes... way too early for Halloween displays. Then again it won't be long until Costco has their winter clothing on display.

Yes, they do and it's annoying.

And it's only July. Very sad to see this so soon. I wonder who would buy this stuff now.

That first one is a beautiful photo, but who actually buys Halloween stuff at the end of July/

Oh my! It's the same as when straight after Christmas the Easter egg displays start appearing! I guess some folk like to be prepared way ahead of time!

Someone else mentioned seeing this in stores near them. I couldn't believe it, and I still can't! I thought it was an isolated incident, but I guess not.
