Scenes of Mexico

There are quite a few businesses along one stretch of McDowell Road that cater to the Hispanic clientele.  Many murals can be found in this area but sadly, most don't have a signature on them so trying to find the artist is a bit of a challenge.  This mural is on the side of a Mexican restaurant.  It's beautifully painted so I wish I could give the artist a little shout out for their colorful work.

Poor girl with that monster behind her.

I'd love to know the story behind the characters in the mural. The cat on the right especially; is it her Shadow? The girl's unperturbed. Perhaps they are her animal spirit guides.

I like it but have no idea what it means. You should join us again at Monday Murals, Sharon!

That's all rather weird, especially the "cat" with the lazy tongue trying to lick the cactus. Other than that the scenes are very "Mexican."

Quite an interesting mural Sharon, although the "lion" on the right looks a bit scary.
Thanks for contributing to Monday Murals.

I like this one.

At first I thought there is a devil behind the girl, then, seeing the leopard I realised that it must be a lion.
Like the Mexican colors and style.

It's a beauty Sharon.. such a shame the artist doesn't know it's being seen around the world ☺
