Urban Living

Another combined use building that I found in downtown Phoenix.  Ground floor are businesses and upper floors are condominiums.  Judging from the furniture on those upper floor patios, it looks like they are occupied.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  I made a discovery that proves my childhood has now become "vintage".

A special combination in building style.

I like it, although it's not the kind of building I'd expect to find in Phoenix. In fact, when I saw the photoI, thought you were going to post something about London! :) I'll be this place requires a good deal of capital in order to live there.

I agree with Lowell about the architecture. I would be very happy living in this building tho!

Not what I would expect to see in Phoenix. I like it.

It's becoming a common trend here as well in new buildings. I like this one.

I'm surprised that is in Phoenix too, Sharon! I like it though.

Interesting architecture. Is the bottom part older than the top part, do you think? Or was it all built at the same time?

This place is a winner. A real winner. I like the mixed use idea, which is common in Europe but not common enough in the States.
