Out of Business

This broken window with the drink cup inside caught my eye.

I took two shots, one close and one further away and I'm not sure which I like best.

I spotted the broken window on the side of the Paris Laundry and Dry Cleaners which has gone out of business.

When I lived on the other side of town, I would pass this place and it's sort of mid-century modern exterior quite often.  Even though I didn't do business here, I was sort of sad to see it go.

It is always sad to see businesses close, it's always a sign of passing time and or of something gone wrong.

I understand, it is not pleasant to see buildings not used anymore and neglected.

It is sad to see any business close up!

I know what you mean. There are a few businesses sitting empty around here too. And yet, more new ones being built.

Do you have any wider shots of the exterior? It looks like a great old sign and a cool building.

That is sad. Wonderful shots though. Maybe the building will be reused for a new business.

It is always sad when we see a business closing for whatever reason.
The pictures, however, came out really good.

Those great photos of the window speak volumes of the sad demise of this building!

Decline in such areas is a worrisome sight.

Really sad... I like your shots, though.

It's always sad to see a business die. Unless it's the wrong kind of business. You know what I mean. The trouble here is that the store was in the wrong country. It's explicit that it belongs in France. I mean, really, "Paris Laundry and Dry Cleaners"?

Unfortunately it seems to be a common occurrence everywhere. We had a couple of businesses close but also two new ones open.

Great name for the shop but often great misfortune to "go out of business."
