The Wild West

There was a part of the Scottsdale Princess Resort that I don't remember from all those years ago when I stayed there.  It's this little wild West village located off to the side of the resort property.

It looks like it's been set up for parties and could very likely be the place that conferences have a bar-b-que event.

There was all kinds of western items scattered around the area.

And, quite a few rusty horses to admire.

I like the rusty carriage, and also the rusty horses, of course.

The rusty horses and wagon artwork are fantastic! I still have romantic notions about the Wild west and rugged handsome cowboys!!

Funky and fun. What's really funny is that the "wild west" that we see on TV and in the movies was really not at all what the wild west was like. Well, they had saloons and horses and gambling and girls of the night but not so many guns. In fact, in most towns, you had to hand over your gun(s) to the sheriff until you left town. :) I would enjoy this wild west town though. A lot. You could get some of your friends and stage a shootout and take photos and post them and we would all give you a high five and a like and enjoy! :)

Interesting but I must admit I don't like too much the rusty part of it.

We all seem to have a romanticised idea of the Wild West and these places really pull us in.
