When it comes to building birdhouses some people have great imaginations.
I agree and also find them very attractive. Can't really explain that but it's probably why I like older Victorian style homes.
They ARE attractive, and they look like they're still functional, unlike the "distressed" birdhouse that Ellen blogged about a while ago:

I love the old weathered look of these two birdhouses. Maybe they were starter homes for the birds just starting out.
These look still shipshape!
I like them both! I have a couple of birdhouses, but I'm a little selfish and keep them inside.
