Another Grand Entrance

I spotted this Spanish style home with its grand entrance and fountain in the southern foothills of Camelback Mountain.

It not only has a grand entrance but it also has a bell tower although it looks like there is a light fixture instead of a bell.

The back of this house faces south down the mountain slope so I'm assuming it has a rather nice view of the city.

I really like the entrance and clean design of the front part of the house.

That is one gorgeous residence. And I like that there's no grass to water and worry about!

I like the Spanish style, Sharon.

It's a nice house, but it calls to mind the Victorian "follies" we find in England -- where someone would build a completely unnecessary structure (i.e. a bell tower!) just because it looked nice in the landscape.

When we lived in Mexico, we would see grand houses like this in small towns. I always said "that's where the drug dealer lives!"
