Theme Day: Photo of the Year

I reached back all the way to last January for my Photo of the Year and picked this unlikely photo of the drinking fountains at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.  It may not be the most beautiful photo I took all year but, it was certainly one of the most popular.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  Can you "say cheese"?

That often happens don't you think, the first shot of the year is the most appealing! This is a beauty, I'm not sure why but I thought of silver cigarette lighters 😊 best wishes for a Happy new year Sharon 🎆

very cool photo and architectural layout of the fountains, but do people still use those? I guess being OCD I saw the unhealthiness of them LONG ago. ;) Happy new year!

You indeed made something simple into something special with your perspective and your lens. Happy New Year!

I can see why this would appeal. Funny which ones turn out to be popular and which bomb. I sometimes post something I think is terrific and find it greeted with a loud "meh."

I got rhythm. It could be a modernist form of musical notation. Creative shot. Happy New Year to our friends in Arizona.
