Lined up on the Street

I was trying to locate a business in the Sunnyslope area of North Phoenix last week when I spotted these posts lining one of the the streets.  I pulled over to get a closer look.  I'm not sure what they are for other than to signify a certain area.  This guy is obviously a doctor which makes sense.  I was parked in front of a medical building.

A little further down was this guy who looks a bit like a businessman.  Maybe he manages the medical building.

I pointed my telephoto lens down to the next block and spotted these people along the street between the trees.  It's an interesting way to mark the area.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  I talk about a repeat visit that didn't hold up to the first experience.

I like them very much Sharon, we have similar sculptures here also.

These are rather cute...certainly eye-catching, and good markers for the businesses in the area. That first one looks like it's been tagged, though. :(

They look cute!

Interesting. Maybe they're for locking up bikes? Or just sculptures, art for art's sake!

I like them. I wonder if it's part of a public art program. Our city has a rule that if a roadway has to be torn up for infrastructure repairs, by way of compensation afterwards, public art needs to be placed along that road.

I like them but it is too bad someone has tagged them!

When was the last time you saw a doctor wear a reflector on his head? Who even remembers them?

That last one looks a bit like a haunted forest.
