It Must Be October!

I went to my local Whole Foods store on Friday and was greeted with a very huge pile of beautifully shaped pumpkins.  Something tells me it's October!  I wonder how many of these will be carved into ghoulish works of art before the end of the month arrives.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  From my recent visit to London, one of the small things that drew my attention.

I'm impressed at how nicely-shaped these are. We've got pumpkins everywhere, too. But I am looking forward to some pumpkin pie. It always tastes better in the fall!

Can you believe we just had pumpkin soup for dinner Sharon, that's the only carving of pumpkins I intend to do in October ☺☺

I always wonder what happens to all those left over pumpkins. I hope they get used for something.

Color and pattern, perfect composition. There has to be something like this around here. All I need is the time to find it.

Nice pumpkin composition. Great color and all of them are round. The kind I like!
