Day or Night at the Royal Palms

A day or two before I left on my trip, I met some friends at the Royal Palms resort for a drink after a nearby art exhibit.  I took the photo above a year ago when I visited in the day time.

This is the photo I took the night I met my friends there.  It's such a pretty place and now that our mornings and evenings are cooling off, it would be very pleasant to sit on this patio some evening.

What a great shot (both of them) with that mountain looming in the middle! I'm partial to night shots, so I especially like the 2nd one!

Two fab images Sharon, it does look like a really nice place to catch up with friends. I agree with Lowell, the mountain makes a spectacular backdrop!

It's fun to see the day and night scenes.

I love that place but I haven't been there in years.

I'm surprised that there is no one out on that patio in your shot - looks lovely!

Phoenix is a place where a lot of architecture faces inward in the Spanish colonial style. So many hidden gardens.

It looks great at night! I'm surprised no one was out there when you took your photo! (Or did you ask everyone to get out of the frame?) :)

That place has a lot of appeal. I would like it.
