In Memory

Just a reminder that today is the 15th Anniversary of the 9/11 attack on the United States.  One flag for each person who died that day.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  I'm featuring an attraction right here in Phoenix.

We have a field of flags at the Civic Center here too. Each flag has a name on it and some have things like a pair of boots or a teddy bear.

Hard to believe it's been 15 years Sharon, still so vivid in everyone's mind! It really was the beginning of so many horrific attacks!

Very fitting for today. I was at a national ceremony for fire fighters this morning, and speakers made mention of that day.

It will always be a horrible date in our memories.

Your photo has a beautiful blue sky background. One of the things I recall most about September 11 is that it was one of those absolutely beautiful days, the kind you get three or four of every year. It turned from wonderful to disastrous so fast!
