Sea Weed People

One of my favorite sculptures at the Heard Museum is this one called "Sea Weed People" by John Hoover.  It's located in the reflecting pool near the entrance to the museum.

There is something about the graceful lines to this sculpture that appeals to me.

You can probably tell from the light that this photo was taken on a different, more overcast day.  It gives a better view of the little reflecting pool in this garden area.

I like it very much also Sharon, the fluidity is perfect reflected in the water.

I think the people behind the Phoenix Art Museum have done and are doing a wonderful job.

Very seaweed-like! Kelpish, I would say.
