Enjoying a Bike Ride

I spotted this new mural on the side of a Bicycle Store in Midtown Phoenix over the weekend.  What a cheerful mural it is.  It kind of reminded of me when I was a kid living in Illinois and I'd set out on my bike and spend the day exploring my city.

This certainly has a nostalgic element to it. We rode everywhere when we were kids. Great fun. But if it's as hot in Phoenix as it is here, I don't expect a lot of folks will be outside riding bikes! Yikes!

I was always on my bike as a kid! Love the mural. I hope kids are still out riding around like that these days.

I don't think kids wander the same way we all did!

It is a wonderful, colourful and joyful mural of a bygone, carefree and very safe activity for kids.
