The Cart and the Donkey

This yard is decorated with a cart loaded with barrels and a donkey loaded with luggage.  The cart and barrels look like real antiques.  I found this by accident when I was tying to locate an address.  This wasn't the place I was looking for but I stopped to get a photo anyway.  I hope you are having a great Sunday!

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  I'm back at The Huntington and looking inside the grand home on the estate.

That is really quite nice for a Phoenix yard. It ties in with the history where barrels of water, etc., had to be transported over large areas and that was often done with donkeys pulling the carts. Nice photo, too.

Sometimes you find the most surprising things when you least expect to Sharon :) I kinda like that donkey :) Happy mother's day..

Looks like it would be a very slow ride, days and days to get to Mesa.

You found a very pretty place. I am a big fan of serendipity.
