One Bloom

This single bloom on a desert rose plant caught my eye.  It was not only the only bloom, there were absolutely no leaves on this plant either.  In fact, if it hadn't been for this bloom, I would have thought the plant had died.

It made me wonder if the leaves would pop out soon or if this flower was it's last effort.

So delicately beautiful but how strange that the plant looks dead.

You find and photograph some of the most lovely blossoms in your area!

What a beautiful flower. I think desert plants have the most brightly colored blossoms.

How beautiful. You will have to revisit and let us know what happens next.

I'm guessing the leaves come later, but I have absolutely nothing more than intuition to base that on!

Let's hope that the leaves come after the bloom - like cherry blossoms!
