Spanish Luxury

Today I have one more of the houses from the Phoenix Home and Garden tour that I took a week ago.  This house was built in a Spanish style with a wonderful garden and backyard dining area.  Above is one of the landscaped garden areas that ran next to the pool area.

At the end of that garden area was an outdoor fireplace with an comfy sofa facing it.

On the other side of the fireplace was a covered, outdoor dining area.  (Those cards on the table were business cards from the landscape architect.)

I was attracted to these three large pots located near the fireplace.  I think those zig-zag lines appeal to my sense of aesthetic.

Those pots ARE nice. I like the blue upholstery on the couch, too. I wonder what on earth these people do to have so much money? These seem like really top-of-the-line houses.

A perfect Phoenix house...those outdoor dining areas and that outdoor fireplace are gorgeous and just what one might need on a cool winter night in Phoenix. I like those pots, too. Lots!

What a beautiful home. Gosh, I would love that sort of outdoor but under cover living. Would never work here in England - to much rain and cold.

I could easily live here, Sharon. The owners (or their architect and decorators) have great taste. I love the over-sized zigzag pots. My tastes are traditional, so I like their classic form, but I appreciate that they have been made unique with the bold striping.
