Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Rat look then, seems to be a popular look for cars
Looks good. Would look great as a Brenizer method photo.
A true classic.
It has had a hectic life, I expect.
A bit rusty after a loong life...We call them lovingly "Käfer".
The color is perfect to dissimulate a bit of rust...
It looks well worn. My parents had a couple of them.
As long as it gets its owner from A to B safely it's ok by me Sharon.. blimey it certainly knows how to stand out in a crowd with that colour :)
It's a beauty in its own right! I've always wanted to drive an original for fun!
Judging by the flat windshield it is at least pre-1972. That is old!
That's exactly how it should be! Loooooooove!
If it's rusty it must be from somewhere other than Phoenix.
I had a green one, a 1960 model, I think. But we lived in Chicago and the car had no heater. Plus it wasn't beig enough for the four of us! :)
Someone could make a lot of money if they rehabbed this. It's already been repainted once but it is in good physical shape.
Aw! This reminds me of my red "Fu-fu" which was battered and beat-up when I finally let it go. I loved my car!
