El Adobe

This little shopping and office complex is located in Old Town Scottsdale and is constructed of adobe brick.  Makes sense since it's called "El Adobe".  It's a small group of businesses, an art studio and a salon and a lovely little garden in the center.  It doesn't get much more southwestern than this place.

All you need is some gut in a sombrero snoozing by the door

Great with all that green.

Lovely framed image. Remember buildings like this when I visited Phoenix years ago.

Love the green and the bricks.

Cactus out in the garden. To me that is very exotic.

This is very nice...I wonder how old it is. I remember main street in old town Scottsdale (actually, I think that's all there was to Scottsdale back then....there was a barber shop and butcher shop side by side...and a big theater further up the road.

Lovely framing. I don't think I remember seeing any adobe bricks. Or maybe I didn't notice...
