Lost Shoe

Someone is missing a shoe!  I saw this one little shoe sitting on a bench all alone.  Some mother is not going to be happy when she notices one bare foot on her little tyke.

And not any shoe! I can imagine a crying kid just before the shoe was lost...

Seldom do you find two shoes. A few years ago I wrote a poem about "orphaned" shoes.

I always hope that they will come back looking for it, Sharon!

I often see Mums with one shoe in their hand, the other on a toddler's foot in a pram! Cute shot!

I once read an essay, or perhaps heard a Garrison Keillor monologue, about the common sight of a single shoe along a highway. There is a story behind every one.

When it comes to raising kids this is occupational hazard.

One often sees this happen, particularly if the kid's in a stroller.

I'm always amazed at the pieces of discarded clothing one typically finds on a walk in Phoenix. And other places, too!

Good looking athletic footwear.
