Wall Art

I found this giant eye on a block wall in the Loma Linda residential neighborhood in central Phoenix.  There wasn't any sign to indicate an artist but it was on the wall of a home that faces a different street.  Those lashes are actual wires sticking out from the eye's frame which seems just a bit dangerous to me.

Here's a view of the whole wall.

It does look good, from a distance. You're right about the wires though... we have those kind of things on top of lampposts and certain buildings to keep pigeons or gulls off!

Looks a bit blood-shot. CBS will be envious.

That is so neat. I really struggle to find anything like that here in Coventry.

Some folks have more money than sense. But it is kinda cute. Just don't eyeball the eyeball too closely! :)

Good way to brighten up a plain wall. I like it.

Maybe they are telling you that someone is watching!

Hmm. A little creepy to my taste. Wouldn't want to be the adjoining home owner.

Cool Shot! The lashes are a bit grotesque - but I actually like the distance shot! Maybe it needs a bit of context to soften the impact!!
