Returning to Phoenix

I flew to California last Wednesday but I drove back with Julie and Dave on Monday.  Arriving in Phoenix, since I wasn't driving this time it was a perfect opportunity to snap a few shots of the Phoenix downtown skyline from Interstate 10 as we arrive in the city.  There aren't many places in town where you can get this view.

Always interesting to see a different viewpoint Sharon, not easy when you're driving :)

Beautiful and interesting view, Sharon.
I like the palms in the foreground.

I love the palm trees in amongst the buildings. No palm trees in my part of Canada!

YIKES! I'd be careful traveling anywhere on RT.10 these days.

Quite a skyline, too!

That skyline is larger than I remember. I love how sharp your photo is - it's like those buildings are etched into the sky!

It's nice to have a chauffeur in order to free you for shooting pics!

A very pretty shot Sharon! I drove all the way from Phoenix to Tallahassee on I-10 once about 15 years ago. There is an exit just a couple of miles south of my house.

The air looks so clear and bright!

Yup, lots of folks avoiding I-10 these days.

It's always nice to come home.

PS: I found a phoenix for you right here in Berlin! He's hard to photograph though. ;-)
