Phoenix Bird...as a mural

I found this Phoenix Bird in an alley in downtown Phoenix painted on the side of a building.  I couldn't find an artists name.

I don't think there is any message here.  It's just another artistic version of our namesake.

Oh la! That is a pretty fabulouso version of the rising Phoenix, almost seems a shame it's not out in the open somewhere more visible. Wish street artists would sign their names, would be good to give them the recognition hey!

It reminds of an old Russian propaganda poster, I like it!

The many curlicues that make up the figure may mean something? The rays branching off the bird's head may mean something, too. Another curiosity!

Looks like the brightness cleans up a drabby sight.

WOW! I think this is much too spectacular to be hidden in an alley!

You never know what you will find in an alley.

Love it. I see a Celtic design but that's probably just me!

Kind of unusual, isn't it? I thought it was made of numbers, or letters, but it seems not to be made of anything in particular.
