Guardian

It is way too hot to be out taking pictures so I've pulled a couple out of the archives to show you.  This is another sculpture by Heloise Crista, the artist and Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice who resides at Taliesin.  This statue is located in a park dedicated to FLW in north Scottsdale.  I've posted some of Crista's work before.  You can see it here.

Here is a view of the full statue.  It is very dramatic and once again is influenced by her years as a dancer.

What a glorious sculpture! Been out of the loop for days without cell or wifi in our lovely Lake Michigan cottage in Door County, Wi. Wish I could live here again! I have been posting automatically. Now in a coffee shop checking my mail. Don't worry, I'll be back!!

This really is very beautiful Sharon, it has a kind of Art Deco feel to it don't you think? I must Google Frank LLoyd Write and find out more about him, or do you think this is more Crista style than Wright?

I really like this one, Sharon! Somehow it looks like the figure is growing out of a leaf.

Amazing piece of art. Yes, it's definitely too hot for Phoenicians to be out and about!

That top photo looks like it's popping out of the sky. Of course the sculpture at Taliesin by Heloise Crista ain't bad either.
