Theme Day - Upside Down

Who put that book back on the shelf upside down?

The first of the month is always theme day for City Daily Photo bloggers and today's theme is "Upside Down".  Since I couldn't find anything (or anyone) that would cooperate and pose upside down, I created my own upside down interpretation.

To see how other City Daily Photo bloggers have represented the theme, click here.

Perhaps it's a coded message?!

Looooove your upside creation Sharon, what a good idea and I must say a fine selection of old books!

You proved necessity is the mother of invention! That's an old shelf of books (or I suppose more correctly said, it's a shelf of old books). They must be your favorites.

My guess is that you were meandering through an old book sale?

Well that is fun. I remember some of those old books.

At first I didn't notice that a book was put upside down.
Intriguing idea, Sharon !

Clever interpretation. Seems that some of us want to know the origin of these old books, yours or a bookstore? Am interested in the title, The Tiger of Mysore." I'll have to google it for the plot summary.

So natural and original: it happens almost everyday! This is one of the best images I have seen for this theme day.

Excellent. Very creative. I'm sure that if I looked I could find at least a couple of upside down book on my book shelves, but I never thought of it! Well done!

That would drive me nuts!!!! I wouldn't mind re-reading Jamaica Inn!

Looks some good reading there. I'm reading "The Maltese Falcon" by Dashiell Hammett. Just finished his "Red Harvest". "The Thin Man" awaits me. All three are in one book from the library.

That is a gorgeous shelf of old books. I want to take every one of them, individually, riffle them, them bury my nose deep inside.

Ah, bliss ...

It is a fine interpretation of the upside down theme, but even more, it is a fascinating glimpse into your library.
