Mountain From a Mole Hill

When I was downtown recently I couldn't help but notice this huge mountain of dirt with the giant industrial excavator on top of it.  I'm pretty certain there was a flat piece of land with some type of single story building on it previously.  The old saying "making a mountain out of a mole hill" is what I immediately thought when I saw this.  I'll have to watch the progress here to see what exactly they will do next.

One never knows what's coming. There are people hidden in little corners of tall buildings planning to move, destroy, change, renovate, and build things. And this goes on all the time. Even when we're asleep. It's scary when you think about it. :)

I wonder where all that dirt came from. If it's from a hole they dug, it must be a deep one.

Maybe ther're building an underground garage. Or tall high-rises must be anchored very deep in the dirt. I hope all the dirt is taken care of before the summer winds come.

They are obviously up to something!

If that was here it would be another condo tower coming!

Just when you think the work is done, they're building somewhere else.

If that was in Williams they'd have let you drive the excavator!
