Theme Day: Revolution

Wow, this was a challenge topic that really got me scrambling for a way to interpret "revolution".  I chose the 'going round and round' definition.  The above swirling water tank is one very small part of a very large Rube Goldberg contraption that was on display at the Arizona Science Center.  It's one of those things where the balls travel from one end of the area to another by traveling through a series of obstacles it the way.

The photo above covers almost all of the huge contraption.  There was a lot of splashing water along the way so it was a perfect diversion for the young ones.

Love the 'revolving' water in the first shot and the octypus feel to the second. Nice work Sharon.

Quite a fascinating device!

It is almost as if they built this thing just for the theme Sharon! Great choice. That first shot is fantastic.

This WAS a tough theme, wasn't it? You found a good one. So, why would someone invent this?

We've got no pictures of tornadoes to compliment this.

These are great for the theme.

Love your "revolution" theme photo. Most of the other ones I looked at were wheels!

I also had a hard time with this theme. I like your choice, though!
