Theme Day: Aging

Every living thing ages, the trick is to do it gracefully!  I think these flowers have got the hang of it.

The March 1st theme for City Daily Photo bloggers is "Aging".  To see how other bloggers represent the theme, click here.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  The magic of Venice is featured.

The still vibrant colour of the ageing flowers against the blue of the vase brings life to the image Sharon, gorgeous choice for today.

I like this spin on the theme - Much brighter colours than one would usually associate with aging

Good technique. I hope I can do it somewhat gracefully. It will be a challenge. Ha.

A little bent and faded but still pretty to look at.

They are still soooooo pretty though!

Interesting that the color remains so vibrant. Kinda sad to see them drooping.

Bravo, Sharon. I applaud those who decided to approach the aging theme in a positive way. Your image is lovely.

And . . . Venice? Did I hear Venice? I will be visiting your other blog ASAP. (I am flying into Venice airport in two weeks but alas will not even stop in the city before heading to Padua, then Florence, then Rome.)

They're still pretty even in this late state.

I immediately thought of the old Rolling Stones song, Dead Flowers. These will keep a bit of majesty until the petals drop.

Such a sad end for, as Bob remarked, a flower of majesty, Nicely photographed, tho!
