Smaller home....grander view

I might have down-sized my living space but I've picked up a much grander view from my new home on the east side of Phoenix.  I can now view Camelback Mountain every day.  I took this photo at sunset a couple of evenings ago when I saw how the setting sun was bathing that Phoenix landmark in a warm glow.

Smaller is better anyway -- and that is an amazing view!

Oh, and by the way, thanks for your info on "Mr. Carson." I knew he is married to Imelda Staunton -- I haven't seen her yet, though. I'm not sure I would recognize her unless she was dressed as Vera Drake!

That's a gorgeous view to wake up to and go to sleep with.

Is that from your window? I have a feeling we might be seeing the many moods of Camelback Mountain like back when you lived in St. Louis and would send me all those pictures of the arch in different weather and light.
