Com'in Around the Corner

There is a point on the light rail at Camelback Road and Central Avenue where the rail line takes a turn to the west.  I caught this train making that turn across traffic.  you can see all the cars lined up at the stop light.  There is a huge park and ride station here that I have used quite often when I'm heading downtown using the light rail.

Nice shot. Never knew Phoenix has light rail transit.

Such a beautiful light here, and I like the train.

Like the color in your photo today. Rich pastel.

It's so good to see public transportation improving in most places, Sharon!

I remember the great day we had in Phoenix with you, when we rode it to downtown. Lots of pictures got taken that day.

I loved the light rail. I've only ridden it once though.

You were in the right place at the right time to get this shot.

I love taking the tram. I don't know why, but it's fun!

Lovely light!

I didn't realize the Bank of Montreal had expanded into the US.

Perfect timing with this shot! I agree with everyone else about the light. It's beautiful.

Nice capture Sharon.. it's only now that I'm appreciating our rail system, so quick and easy to get into the city.

I need to come back and ride one of those.

How great that Phoenix has light rail! My hometown, Tampa, has resolutely resisted rail transportation for years. It's such a shame.

For a large machine, it is snaking its way around the curve quite gracefully.
