Mystery shot

I took this photo a while ago when I was walking around the Scottsdale Civic Center park.  I spotted a patch of poppies blooming so a took a few shots.  For some reason that I can't explain, this shot looks like I photoshopped the background to black and white, but I didn't.  This is straight out of the camera and it's the only shot with the background looking like this.  Other shots have green backgrounds.  I checked the meta data for the photo and it's exactly the same as the shot with the green background.  Whatever the reason, I like the way it looks.

Love the intense red. Need some color on this gray day here.

Mersad used the correct word. . . intense. It's beautifully shaped. The background allows the vivid color to really stand out.

Perfect background.

Hope you had a good birthday this week.

I looove the way it looks Sharon, so dramatic.. I've had this happen too, it's an 'artistic' mystery :)
