Playing with my food

I know I shouldn't play with my food but, when the cherries are this gorgeous, it's hard to resist.  So, I put them in a bowl, put them against a white background and fired away.

Then I messed around with some photo editing and came up with all sorts of versions.  I liked this one the best.  Never fear, I am going to eat the cherries.  Their day in the spotlight is over.

Nice idea, Sharon, if you photograph your food for an entire year, at the end you can make a book :)
p.s. we call them Kerschn.

Delicious! Loved the lone flamingo yesterday.

Keeping then a bowl after the photo shoot would be unconscionable; they cry out to be savored and eaten!

Oh, yeah. That second picture is the bomb.

(OMG, did I really say that?)

You are getting very good at doing these still lives and then putting them through the photo editor.
