Blank Canvas

I started working on my latest "art challenge" yesterday.  I got the brushes and paints out, set up the easel and ready, set, go!  I usually use photography as my art medium but this time I promised myself I'd paint something.  I'll show you the finished product when I get it done.  I have no formal training in painting so it's a true challenge.

I paint off and on... mostly off. You are brave. These days my efforts will not see the light of day. hahaha

This should be interesting!

We are doing the same thing! As I leave this comment I am sitting next to my easel, with an empty canvas, and will start my next art challenge project in a few minutes. As you have seen, painfully during our Art Challenge meetings, I have the same amount of art training as you.

With this month's theme, I am also going large with a painting.

Good luck to you. I once had thoughts of painting when I retired, but I have decided that I am unwilling to go through the phase in which my work would be dreadful.
