Showing Off!

The cactus are showing off right now.  Wherever I go I see spectacular blooms.  It's hard not to stop and photograph them all.

I especially like these satiny red blooms.

I sooo would love to see this! Was in Phoenix two times, once in November, another time in December. So I have to be back in April and May I guess...
Thanks for posting these pics Sharon, love them :-)

P.S. Regarding your comment on the Orchid post:
Phalaenopsis species are the easiest plants to take care of. Here's what I do: once a week I take mine to the bathtub and, literally, shower them; the next morning they have dried and I move them to their places (no direct sunlight). And that's it! :-)
Buy one, try this and I'm sure you'll be rewarded. However, as you live in Phoenix you must have A/C at home, so don't place it near the box.
