Pink Door

Hidden on one of the side streets in downtown Scottsdale is a small little center with a couple of restaurants in it and other small shops.  All the doors are a different bright color making a colorful and appealing look.  The one above had a gorgeous hot pink door.

Another one had an orange door.

And......

.......yet another one had a bright green door.

What a fun atmosphere!

This really shows you that it doesn't have to be white or dark wood. These colors pop out and add interest to ones home. I just made a post on my blog on the construction of our house, and we thought about a different color, but ended up with a white framework.

My fav is the first Sharon, the pink is set off to perfection by the blue walls and yellow planters :) I don't think I could cope with a plain door, mine is bright red!

I like the pink the best too - like Grace I think all those tones look fabulous together!

I always like looking beyond those colorful doors. You never know what you will find.

We painted our door red back in 2001. Then we moved a couple of times. Our current door is also red, though not by our work.

Although a very plain door, the passion pink color rises it above the ordinary!

You could have told me South Beach, Miami, and I'd believe you.

I was in a funky, artsy place today with similar bright colors, but yours are crisp and well-tended and mine were worn and battered.
