Out on a limb


I saw a branch on a creosote bush bouncing up and down so I took a closer look and found this little round tailed ground squirrel munching away on the blooms.  The branch was up pretty high and was very thin.  I'm not quite sure how it was holding him up.

He didn't seem to mind me taking his picture.  He just kept on eating.

Nice shots! There were a lot of pesky squirrels at the G.C. this week. No sheep though, which is what I what I was wanting to see.

These are great! You have sharp eyes! I don't think I'd ever have spotted the critter. They're very light and seem to be able to balance on the flimsiest of limbs.
