A "Supreme" event

Tuesday evening, I attended the 15th Annual John P Frank Memorial Lecture again this year and the guest speakers this year were Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor with Mary Schroeder, Senior Circuit Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the North Circuit.  It was another very entertaining and educational evening.  The topic of discussion this year was the progress of women in the law profession and what it's like to be a woman on the Supreme Court.  The event has become so popular that it has been moved to a much larger venue on the Arizona State University campus.

Love the atmospheric lighting in your shot!

Sounds fascinating. When I was a law student, the proportion of women was already well over 50% at uni, nowadays I think it might well be nearer 75%...

Oh, wow, Sharon! What an occasion! I would be thrilled to be in the same room with these two women. Saw and heard O'Connor during a US Supreme Court case and was a fan forever. Bader looks well and healthy in this photo; hope that she is!!

You go to the most interesting events! I can imagine how inspiring this must have been. Did they open things up for questions? I've got a few! :)

That's a good way to give these students something to strive for.
