For once my timing was perfect....

Not just one....

Not just two....

Not even 30....

More like 40 or 50 blooms all at once!

I was at the garden Friday morning and noticed that this Argentinian Giant cactus had quite a lot of buds on it.  I went back early on Sunday morning and was treated to this spectacular sight.

I wasn't the only one who was in awe of all this beauty.  The gathering of photographers just kept getting bigger.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  I am off to an Italian Castle.

Reminder:  The theme for May 1 is "Squares".

These are wonderful, Sharon. I actually saw some cactus flowers recently here in Florida. I was excited.
