Roosevelt Historic Neighborhood

this gorgeous house is located in the Roosevelt Historic Neighborhood and happens to be right across the street from the Japanese Garden.  I hadn't noticed it before but I drove down this street after visiting the garden one day and had to turn around and go back to get a photo.  It really is wonderful house.  I love it.

only in a new city like Phoenix would neighborhoods like this be considered "historic."

I like this house too! I even remember seeing it myself years ago. It certainly is eye catching.

Nice house and I bet nothing is out of place inside either, Sharon.

I like the look of it, Sharon, particularly that shade of red.

Thank you for doing that, Sharon. This house is a beauty. And, while being distinctly American, it also has elements that would seem comfortable in an Asian setting, too.

One of my favorite neighborhoods.

I know just where this house is. I loved to wander around the Roosevelt Historic District when I lived in Phoenix. I think - but I may be wrong - that this house is new construction in a rich old neighborhood. If so, it certainly fits in well with the surrounding architecture.
