Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
A very happy looking start to the week!
So bright and cheery! Looking at that, I could almost believe the sun wishes us well - instead of pouring down a string of 40+C degree days we're getting in a summer scorcher heatwave!!
I wish I had one of these to stick in the snow in my backyard.
Would look fantastic on an outside wall. Did it go home with you Sharon ?
Go back and get it! We all need a ray of sunshine!
An interesting object. Not sure I'd take one home, though, and can't imagine that you'd need more sunshine in Phoenix. I watched some of the golf tournament - they said about 200K were in attendance on Saturday. Is that even possible? The weather looked gorgeous!
I could use one too, we've had quite a winter. Fantastic color - hope you got one after all!
It was crazy! I've never seen anything close to these numbers. Saturday afternoon they said there were 190K and then later 200K. Most tournaments run 30-40K - if they're lucky.Yesterday the attendance estimates were down to 140K. That's still an incredible number of people milling around a golf course! :)We went bike riding this am. It was 64 so I wore a sweatshirt! :)
Just what I needed this morning as the sun is hidden behind thick dark clouds. I wouldn't mind so much if there was some moisture coming out of them.
Yes, you must go back and get it!
It was a treat to see it on your blog today, Sharon!
Cheerful little garden ornament and the colors would fit right in with my garden. Maybe I should go get one.
Now that's cheerful.
Beautiful garden ornament, I like it.
Do go back! So original.
