Aloe Blooms

It seems to me that it's just a bit early but, the aloe plants are blooming like crazy.  We did have some very warm temperatures in January so maybe that gave the plants a little encouragement to start their spring show.  This one stopped me in my tracks when I was out for a walk.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  A wild west adventure is on the agenda.

They stopped me in my tracks on a wander through blogland too! The climate seems to be a little crazy across the world right now.

And what is wrong with blooming flowers in January and February?

I'd say something smart but I don't know a bloomin' thing about aloe plants other than they are used in medicine. And they are beautiful!

At first glance at the thumbnail I thought it might be another Chihuly. Certainly a delightful vivid color.

Handy to have in the garden. Breack a tip off and rub the sap on burns. We always had one near the kitchen.

Incredible to see them blooming, I've not had an aloe plant around since childhood. What a gorgeous sight!

The sunshine ornament would be the ideal complement to the aloe blooms.

Beautiful! I love aloe blossoms. I wish we had some potted aloe here just to enjoy their flowers. In fact that might be an upcoming purchase...

These blooms always reminded me of a flame in the desert.
