Sunrise on desert plants and Chihuly art

This is another shot from my early morning outing at the Desert Botanical Garden.  Those Chihuly red reeds brighten a shot that would have been mostly shades of green if they weren't there.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  This time I'll feature Christmas in London as the theme.

Amazing they look like they are plastic just placed there. Love the fact they are growing naturaly that color

They add a real stab of red to their surroundings!

I like the way the glass is placed in such perfect spots to complement the plants.

Quite a contrast in colours, and such a variety of vegetation!

The glass looks so fragile that you would think a strong wind could snap them off!

What a color contrast, I like the red "splashes".

So pretty - I like how the color complements the backdrop so well, like a deliberate thing:)

Chihuly glass works so well in a garden setting, doesn't it?
