Shades of Blue

This Chihuly sculpture is done in different shades of blue.  It makes me think of watching waves roll into the shore with dark blue in the distance and foamy white as it rolls up the shoreline.

One's imagination can run wild when viewing Chihuly's glass sculptures. What genius!

I would love to see these sculptures in situ here in an Arizona botanical garden.. Really enjoying this series Sharon, magical creations, Chihuly is mega talented.

You are right about the waves. Now, how does that go with the desert flora?

Very pretty! I bet you will be going there again soon. It should be very pleasant weather for a walk around the DBG.

I wonder how much time was spent creating this piece.

It is fun seeing your blue curlycues and Julie's straight clear spikes on the same day.
