Old Wagon

I took a drive out toward Carefree yesterday morning to see if I could find some interesting sky shots and when I got to the end of one road in Carefree I found this old wagon at the side of the road.  I took several shots of it and suddenly remembered that I have that painting effects feature in the camera so I thought I'd give it a try.  It tends to make everything too light so I made some adjustments to give it more color and I think I like the result.

See that darker brush behind the wagon?  Those shrubs sort of lined the road along here but I was able to spot little pieces of the house that was hidden behind the shrubs.  Tomorrow I'll show you the shot I took through the shrubs.

Looks like a real piece of the old wild west, the effect is very effective too!

It would be interesting to compare the two: with the painting feature as shown and one without, as snapped.

Head's Up: Mr. Mersad is very flattering, Sharon, but he is writing the same thing on many other blogs. I left him a message, asking him to be sincere and original if he visits my blog again. Had to laugh!

Its such fun to play with effects hey Sharon, I've always liked the paint effect. Looking forward to peeking through those bushes :)

Wow, this does look like a painting.

It is a nice painterly effect. Gives the wagon some authority and age. I like!

This looks good, even though I am not a super fan of special effects. Hey, you gotta play every now and then, don't you?

This looks good with the painting effect. I bet it looks pretty good without it too.
